On My Way

I think the message behind this piece is pretty self-explanatory: don't text and drive, people.  I came up with the idea for this piece when I first heard of the Arrive Alive campaign, which is a program that educates teens about the dangers of driving in summer.  Since I've seen the devastating effects that car crashes can have on people firsthand, this issue is really important to me, and I really hope that you guys like this one!  

This piece was done with pastels (first time using them) and colored pencils on bristol in about 15 hours.
